Capitol District is a member of General Federation of Women's Clubs (gfwc.org) founded in 1890 by Jane Cunningham Croly, a New York journalist who founded Sorosis Club for professional women. GFWC is an international women’s organization.
Our mission
Members are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
